This year, in the interest of making it easier for us to produce more and better parchment, we decided to rearrange our facility, streamline our process, and add more capacity for stretching skins. And while this certainly gave us more room to work on several different orders at once, it also meant we needed more space to store what we have been making. So, while we now have the much-needed capacity that we have been lacking over the last few years, we also inadvertantly ran over-capacity to store everything. The last few months of 2011 have been the busiest months in Pergamena history, ever, for all time! And there's nowhere to go but up. We've been perfecting our white goatskin and calfskin parchment. We've been improving our bookbinding leather and working on a new line of versatile deer leather. We even brought on a new Meyer son to help with the increasing orders and inquiries through the holiday season.
